I'm planning to reinsulate my kitchen this week.
Walls are 2X4, ceiling joists are 16" OC. What is the "best" type of insulation for my job? kraft faced, unfaced, mold resistant...
I plan to use a vapor barier afterwards either way, and am thinking about putting up some of that reflectics prior to the insulation.
I would just like to hear some tips and advice from people that know more about it. I've never messed with insulation in any of my prior D.I.Y. projects.
Thanks for any replies.

We use a R 13 for in the 2X4 use the press fit no paper then come over the whole wall with a 4 milpoly windows and all . Dont cut out the poly on the windows till the drywall is all done. helps keep the windows clean Put a 4 mil poly sheey on the ceiling then the drywall. Come back over it with a 12 " blow of cellulose insulation. Dont forget the foam vents at the roof edge . so the over hang vents air can get up into the attic.
