I just bought an Ademco Vista 20P alarm at Ebay. It is supposed to be new (that is never used) but an older model. I am having trouble getting into the programming mode. After powering up I get a blank display whether I try the *# or the default installer code. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The keypad needs to be set to address 16.

Thank you very much. That did the trick and I am now able to get into the programming mode. I hope I don't have any further problems. I appreciate your quick response.
