I bought this log splitter last year and beefed it up a bit, added an electric start and shield to protect it from the rain, as well as an additional block on the base so the ram would come all the way down. I went to change to hydraulic filter this fall to get busy and can't find the correct one. Anybody know which one it is? The one at Tractor Supply has smaller holes and it seemed to make it whine, as if it wasn't getting enough fluid. It's the 6.5hp, larger one. Any help?

Try taking it to an auto parts store and see if they can cross reference the numbers on the filter to match one.
