After flushing, the bowl fills up like normal (flush is normal too). But an hour or so later, there is no more water in the bowl (tank is full). No leaks around toilet on floor.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? we have septic and well water. It is only happening in the second floor bathroom, the first floor toilet is fine...
Thanks!

Is the toilet completely caulked around the base? If it is, it may not be allowing the leak to appear. Often, diminishing water in the bowl is a sign of a crack in the toilet, causing it to lose water somewhere.
