Is it possible to integrate a new heat pump split system into an older forced air wood furnace? Kind of like the wood heat for those cold winter nights! Thanks.

You can But dont, if you dont want to put a temp cut off on the heatpump. If you run the heatpump like down in the low 30o the pump will have to go into defrost some times and you need back up heat or you will get cold air into the home at that time. You dont want the wood burning the same time that the pump can run
