WOW am I glad to have found this forum! Thank you for making it available!
I have a 4 year old MasterCool Contractor Series evap cooler with wall mounted thermostat-the cooler is roof mounted.
It was working fine this morning...but when I came home this afternoon, the thermostat does not turn on. I've checked the breaker at the main, the connections inside of the cooler, and I don't know WHAT to think. I don't see any breaks in the wires that go to the thermostat. What the heck could have happened?
I am sweltering in my house!!!!!! (Mojave Desert)
Anyone have any ideas of how I can figure out what's gone wrong?
