I have a one piece faucet in my shower. When you pull the lever up to turn on the shower it doesn't turn on. What do I have to do to fix this. Does the whole faucet need replaced or is there something that I can do to fix it.

Generally, there will be a cartridge that can be replaced. You will need to turn off all the water, remove the handle, then the chrome trim to get at it.

If you take a picture of it first, we can usually advise brand and model. If that fails, you take it apart, and post pics of the internal pieces, or take them to a plumbing supply for exact replacements.

Do you know what brand it is or how old it is?
