I put the electric tea kettle on the gas stovetop!!! Big fire and big mess. How do I get the plastic off the stainless steel stovetop and burner covers? Please help!

You might try heating the gas stove top on low heat and scrape with plastic scraper to see if you can budge off the melted plastic. You will likely have to replace the burner covers.
