I recently put a new tile in my basement but, now the floor in the bathroom
is to high for the screws for the toilet.
We left the old flange and put the tile over it and I don't want to break
the new tile to install the toilet.
Is there another viable solution for this?
Please, any ideas to resolve this?
Thanks,

Yes, just purchase a flange extension ring, or two, and install it with the provided screws making sure the keyways are in the proper position for your bolts. Be sure to lay a little silicone between your flange and the extension to make it waterproof and use a wax seal with a bell attached.

You may also wan't to buy the long johny bolts so the bolt head is inside the original flange slots for a stronger hold. If you use just the slots in the extension flange it may not be as strong and could snap in the future if the toilet is set correctly.
