I have to reparge a 50 square foot stucco wall. How many 80 pound bags of finishing stucco will it take?

A masonry store should be able to tell you how far it will cover at what thickness.

A masonry store doesn't know how much you will spill on your shoes. Neither do I, and that is why I won't estimate your quantities for you.
I WILL, however, give you the numbers you need to make the estimate yourself.
An 80# bag of mortar mix is .66 cubic foot of material.
Take the estimated depth of your stucco and multiply it by the square footage. That will give you Cubic Feet of material required, plus your waste. 5% waste is commercial, figure 10-15% for small jobs and rookies. Divide that by .66 for how many bags you may need.

After reading your post again, you said packaged stucco finish. While the .66 number is a decent average, some finish stuccos will contain more that that. You should be able to find estimated coverage for any proprietary finish coat available via the web.
