One of the kids spilled a drink in the wife's car and it went unnoticed for several days. It got moldy. It's been cleaned at the carwash but there's still a dark stain. Any suggestions for getting it out? Thanks, Danty

i would almost bet the stain you see is either wicking from the sugar in the drink...or a dye from the drink vs mold. Does it disappear when wet then return when its dry? What color is it?

Depending on quantity of the spill, it could be that the spill is wicking from beneath the carpet if spill is still wet beneath the carpet. An enzyme digester cleaner (Nature's Miracle, Out, OdoBan, or other) will be helpful in digesting the mold/mildew. Mold/mildew stains are typically next to impossible to remove from fibers. At best, they can be lightened.
