I am re-plumbing a 1920's era house and the sink and clawfoot tub faucets have connections for the supply tubes that appear to be 1/2 inch NPT, but standard supply tubes with 1/2 inch NPT ends seem to be just a very little bit too large and the threads will not quite catch. I have contacted a local plumber and he has no clue! Any ideas?
