For some reason when I'm trying to program fields *21, *37, and *38 instead of being able to enter values of 0 or 1 the system will only take 1 and 2 and thats what it shows on the keypad. Even if I try to put in 01, the function still is not active. Let me also ask, what does #21 do? I think I may have messed something up by hitting #21. Those are the only 3 fields that present any problems. Any ideas?

Now I'm getting a Fault 107 Wire Expansion error

The 1 and 2 you speak of is partion numbers not actual program data. Anywhere you see this you need to enter the information for both patition sections. For example *21 is Exit Warning, you would need to enter 1 and then 1 again. You should hear the triple beep when done correctly. Check 107 is for a zone expander. Do you have one of these and if so it has to be addressed as a 7, by setting the dip switches. Also there is a tamper able/disable jumper on there. With the long row of screws facing your body it is on the left end beside the first screw. Move it up to the middle and top pin. Once you do this enter your code and off twice. Now if you don't have an expander you told the panel you did in zone programming. Any zone higher than zone 8 has to be told what it is, either a 3 for wireless device or a 2 for aux wired.

entering # before a location just makes the panel display the current contents. It cannot change anything, so #21 would have just made it show what you had programmed in the *21 location.

If you do have a hardwired expander on your system, they have a tamper switch that has to be disabled if you are not using the little plastic housing that comes with the board. (it's the jumper on the bottom edge of the board, next to the reed switch). Leaving the jumper in the factory default position will give you this trouble.
