Welcome to the forums! Plywood is not necessary on the interior walls prior to the installation of drywall. You will have a layer of plywood or OSB on the exterior side of the outside walls, which serves as a lateral support base for your framing and allows a good nailing surface for your siding. It should be wrapped with a product such as Tyvek to help eliminate air infiltration and allow moisture to ventilate outward.
