is this sometnig that happened as the result of a repair? or has the motor started running backwards? if the motor has just started running backwards chances are you probably have a bad motor capacitor. Check tht first.

I think he/she is saying it was installed incorrectly. I assumed this (I probably shouldn't assume) because of the wording "blower motor mounted reverse". Who reversed it? That's a good question. Anyway, you have to pull the blower assembly down, remove the blower wheels and turn the motor around. Be sure you re-install the blower wheels on the correct side. Each wheel is different, (right handed and left handed). I also suggest you get someone to help. I have worked on these by myself, but I don't recommend it. It's very difficult to remove or reinstall the mounting screws while holding that blower assembly.

I'm sorry that I didn't comprehend your original post because I missed the part about the motor being double shafted. Shut off the power, make a sketch of where the wires go to the motor. Disconnect the wires to the motor, then look around, you should see some screws holding the entire blower assembly in place. Once you get the blower assembly out, you will have to completely disassemble it and reverse the motor left to right. Put it all back together and that should solve the problem.
