Just this past week a guest of mine managed to spill some oil on my microfiber sofa and now I can't get rid of it. I tried applying the solution "Resolve" but it didn't make much of an effect. Is there a specific solution made for microfiber sofas? Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Anyone else have a similar problem like this? Thanks in advance for all replies.

First, rinse with clear water to get the resolve out of there. Then get ready for the possility that the resolve set the stain permanently. After that, I'd try WD40 on a clean rag, blotting from the outside of the stain toward the center to prevent spreading. As always, testing first in an inconspicuous spot is a good idea.

We have microfiber sofas and I hate them just for this reason. They are difficult to clean.

We usually use a mixture of water and white vinager to remove stains and those notorious "circles" you get after cleaning with other solutions. Definetly do not scrub but blotch the area.

Denatured alcohol or dry cleaning fluid can be used to remove oil stains. Test first in inconspicuous area for ill effects on unstable dye. Use white rag dampened with cleaner and blot from outside toward middle of stain to prevent spreading. If in doubt, contact a professional upholstery cleaner.

Try a product called Janie Stick. It's a professional product dry cleaners use for oil and grease stains but I see you can buy it thru Amazon.com. It works.
