I have DSC Power832 alarm system and I discontinued my contract with the security company. A few days ago, I had a false alarm and the Alarm indicator went on as a result of the "Panel failed to communicate with the central station" condition. I reprogrammed the system and turned off successfully the communicator feature (section 015 option 7 and section 380 option 1).
However the alarm indicator is still on and the error condition is the same. What should I do to turn it off once and for all?

DSC alarm memory normally doesn't clear until you arm and disarm the system.
Sometimes the communication trouble will not clear unless you power down completely (AC and Battery) and restart (setting the time and date, of course).
