I have taken out a wall, so I need to bring out from kitchen about 3 X 5 squares of 16 in. ceramic to fix the floor. any ideas on what to do , or how to do it would be appreciated. I know the basics of fixing and putting the tile down, and I think I can remove the sections of parquet floor that I need to by cutting just the thickness with a skilsaw. I have a slab floor. Any ideas appreciated. I had just planned to butt up the ceramic to the wood and just put grout inbetween. I like that, but someone said it would be better to use some kind of transition. ?? thanks, John
