I would like to permanently bypass/disable one zone (zone 09) in my house.
Can I do it?
If so, how?
(I do have the installer and master codes, if needed)

Thanks in advance for any help.

First, you need the installer manual and programming forms for this system.
Second, you need a 2-line alpha keypad

Given that it's zone 9, I'm assuming that it's a wireless device.

Do the following:

[4 digit installer code] + 8 + 0

*56

0

09*

Hit * until "zone type" is displayed

change zone type too: 00 *

It will then ask you if you want to delete the zone.


This of course, is if you have a alpha keypad like Ron said.

Zone 9 on these panels are a supervisory zone for the wireless receiver or wired expander. You can't disable it, you'll have to find the problem and fix it.
