Hello,

So I recently moved into a new apartment and the window sizes are really odd with horizontal sliding panes. I'm wondering how I would go about installing an air conditioner. In either window I install it in, there will be about 3 feet of open window above it. Any Ideas on what to do?

Thanks

They have Ac units made to fit the slider and casement wondows like you have . You have to get that kind .

Hendricken,

Look at this:

http://www.nextag.com/casement-air-conditioner/search-html

Do a search on "casement air conditioner," the parts that slide out to the window's width on a regular window a/c actully slides UP on these ...Bingo!
