The thing has been worked on 3 times and its still not fixed. Last time it was worked on after it was charged a little the compressor kicked of for 3 hours. The next day the high temp outside was 95. The inside temp was 74, only because it was set on 72 the night before and it dont make it atleast until 3AM. Yeah it takes it that long to cool the house off. I believe by 3am my unit is still running and the inside temp is 72. During the day it will go to 78 to 82. Its a carrier 2.5 ton with puron. I read on the net that dealers offer no lemon gurrantee. The filter is clean, the inside coil was cleaned and the outside coil is just a little dirty, its very minimal. The pressure was....after he added it, the discharge went up but not the suction. (just explaining the effects, not asking or giving) I belive its a lemon and i believe it was damaged during shipment or installation. One way or another i gonna try to get them to replace it. The whole thing.

It's rare that new equipment is a "lemon". In cases where there are problems on new installs, it's frequently the installer who is the lemon.

I agree that you likely have a technician and installation problem and not one with the a/c unit.
Having Puron it must be a newer unit so how is does the warranty fit into the scheme of things?

Like said Did the company or the tech know how to install this unit and work on it?????? Id start out it can have contaminate in it or the R410a is not R410a freon anymore. Did not do a good pull down vac on it. Is this a new coil inside and new lines??????? If not some old oil in it???

This unit was brand new. It has puron. The full warranty was 2 years. The first service call was made before it expired. The unit doesnt cool properly. These was professinal installers. The unit had a crack in the plastic base of it thats why i believe its related to the cooling problems. It was probably happened at the factory. The crack wasnt noticed until months later. The problem was that the unit wasnt cooling the way it was when we first got it. Right now its 80 in the house and its full cloudy outside, the compressor is not running. I think that might have been going on for a while. The unit was bought from sears.
