I have rental units that have the plastic tub surround, one piece, I believe, including the tub. There is a small crack in the bottom of one and leaking downstairs. Can I repair this from the bottom with epoxy, marine seal, etc.?
Or, a topside fix would obviously be ideal. Anyone have experience with repairing leaks in these?

Thanks in advance,

Lance

i have seen many "repaired" fiberglass tubs but never one that didn't leak. if a customer came to me with this problem, the only way i could guarantee the repair would be with a new tub. especially if it's a rental and you don't know how well it's treated.

You might be able to call a company that places a new tub finish over your old one. They can probably suggest a fix.
