Ive had my heat pump worked on 3 times for cooling reasons. I know my required subcooling for 2.5 ton 50xz at 100 degrees is 7. The pressure was Suction at 100psi and the discharge was 350psi before freon was added now it is 475psi...
How do you tell what the subcooling is?
Does anybody now what the factory set pressure or operating pressure is for 100degrees?
After tech left compressor kicked off for three hours.
Is this unit a lemon? Should we demand carrier/sears replace it? Their protection plan says 3 times and its a lemon. Its under warranty. The temp at 100degrees in the house is 81. Its cooling a little bit better now since the added freon.
I want to now what my line temp is suppose to be at certain pressure at 100 degrees outside.

Sorry but we do not give refrigerant side advice. http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=315401
I will tell you though that you need another tech to look at that beast. Sounds like you are grossly overcharged to me.
By the way the thread must be closed. If you want to start another and leave out charging questions you're more than welcome.
