We have always used cuprinol on our deck and this year we painted the deck with an outdoor paint. Just as soon as the weather started getting cold and wet the paint started to peel. Does anyone have input on the correct paint to use.

Mikec12,
Welcome to DoItYourself.com and the deck forum.
Cuprinol is a sealer, and one of the better ones on the market. The problem that you created was trying to paint the deck after it had been sealed several times. The Cuprinol prevented the paint from being able to adhere to the wood -- it tried to adhere to the Cuprinol.
You're gonna have to strip the paint off and go back to just the Cuprinol.

I agree. First off I'd never recomend using paint on a deck. Sooner or later paint will peel even when applied correctly. If you want the solid color look of paint - use a solid stain.
If I remember correctly cuprinol can only be coated over when the the original coat has been removed or weathered away.
