I have a dual A/C system. One for the bedrooms, and one for the remainder of the house. Unfortunately, the thermostat controlling the bedrooms is located in the other zone, so either it doesn't run when it should, or it runs excessively when it doesn't need to. I have a programmable thermostat so I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to maintain control.

Besides rewiring and moving the unit, is there any product that I can purchase that has a "remote" thermometer (or something) that can transmit the actual temperature of the bedrooms to the control?

Thanks!!!

ohliger,
Wireless thermostats can be costly.

For what this costs you could hire someone to relocate your thermostat which isn't a very difficult job.

Holy Cow !!! They are expensive !!!

I was just trying to avoid the rewiring 'cause I have cathedral ceilings and have about 2 feet of clearance between the ceiling and the roof.

They are expensive but you also have to consider damaging the vapor barrier that your ceiling should contain.
I would assume then that you do not have a basement or crawlspace.

I also assume it is too late to get whoever did this to correct the problem.
