I have a 50's rambler which has a well room where the main water line enters the house. I have tried again and again to waterproof the well room, as it leaks after heavy rainfall.
The well room is actually underneath the 3 steps to the front door on the exterior. The steps do have some cracks and other wear and tear. Is this the problem? Or is the water coming in under the steps as it makes it's way down the soil?
Any advice on waterproofing would be greatly appreciated!

Is the well room all concrete? Most of the time, if it's all concrete, the leaks are from the cold joints or cracks. These can be repaired while damp with cementitious crystalline products. check out www.kryton.com for procedures to follow. I've used the material on our home with success.
