Anyone know where you can buy an accurate hygrometer? I have seen some cheaper ($20) 'weather stations' in Walmart, etc, that include temp and humidity levels. Are these accurate? Or are there hygrometer's specifically made to only measure humidity levels that are more accurate. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money. I'm trying to measure basement humidity levels to ensure the correct settings of a couple dehumidifiers done there.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Fairly accurate digital hygrometer for $20.00?.........Maybe.

Many hardware and box stores and even electronics stores like Radio Shack have digital hygrometer/thermometers in that price range.
If they are calibrated correctly when you get them they will be pretty close.

You really don't have to be concerned about the actual reading though.
The percentage of humidity being relative is just that relative.

If you get an inexpensive hygrometer set it in whatever area you want to check and just look for trends.
