I have a amana Furnace (air conditioner). First of all i have my furnace in my crawl space. The furnace is laying on it's side. On the side of the furnace theirs two pvc pipes. One is connected to my humidifier, the other one just comes out a couple of inches. The pvc pipe that is a couple of inches is leaking water out of it.
Two questions is this pipe need to be connected to more pvc pipe and placed near a drain or is their something internal of the furnace that is creating this to leak out? This water only runs out when the air conditioner is running.
Please help if anyone knows about this...
I have read about lines get clogged and need cleaned out,but like i said their is only a couple of inches of pipe were the water is leaking out!!!!!
Thanks,

Have to say lost here. Most AC coils will have just one pvc pipe from them and the other out outlet have a cap on it its like a over flow. Now if that is the only pipe from the coil it has to go to a drain. Is your filter clean ??? blower clean??? no frist or ice on the lines??? Big copper line cold and wet small copper line like hot to warm at the outdoor condenser???
The humidifier is off???? does water run from it in winter??? Where does it run too???
