Hello!
I have done a search but have not found a thread that addresses this.
I want to put laminate in our kitchen, going over a 30 year old vinyl floor. It has coving on the walls coming up from the floor.
How does one go about finishing where the coving is?
I assume you need to cut the coving from the flooring at the floor/wall joint and peel the vinyl off the wall. But....what's the best way to then trim out that area?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Cut the vinyl and remove the cove stick. Leave your expansion space as required, and cover the gap with wall trim molding.
