it's right where the drain meets the sink.

there's not enough room to comfortably stick a finger with a wipe cloth in there. If I pour some cleaner, it'll go right on past and down the drain.

any other means of cleaning that particular location?

Yeah, when I replace a toothbrush, the old one gets used for cleaning - that'd be a lot more sturdy than a Q-tip.
