What does it do if you turn the tstat to fan on?????? Will it keep running ???If it also stops Jump R to G at the tstat and see if it will stay running.

when the outside unit comes on and the inside don't you can flip switch to fan on and it will not come on but after about 25 mins the fan will come on . then let fan run in the on postion for 20 mins flip to auto and it all work fine.

most likely the fan motor is overheating due to worn bearings or a bad motor capacitor ther other problem could be worn contact points on the motor relay. when the motor goes off is it hot or cold to the touch?
cold = power not getting to the motor [relay problem]
hot = motor is shutting off on it's internal protector [motor or capacitor problem]
