I am installing flooring in a new home but this is my first and need tips?
How do i install around my front door?
Do I cut the tounge/grove off my first row?
Best ways to cut flooring?

I believe Pergo makes an installation video that is available for purchase. Pretty sure the box stores carry this item. If it is your first time and you have many of the basic questions you have outlined, then the visual show and tell of the instructional video will go a long way to making you comfortable with your install. The box stores also often have free clinics where they will teach you how to install various items from laminate to tile.
