Furniture, Wood and Cabinetry Finishing - Where to buy a few kitchen cabinets that will be painted

I seem to be an odd bird, but I need just two kitchen wall cabinets, but not your standard depth - I need 24" deep, not the 12" deep that is the norm. I will be painting these to match our existing painted cabinets and I do not need doors (I have a source for doors that already match our existing painted doors).

I know this might not be the right forum, but it seemed to have more like minded people than kitchens and baths. I have gone to the local home centers (Lowes and Home Depot) about 3 times each and literally stood around waiting for someone to service me (and the 8 other people waiting). Online I have not found a source that doesn't include an entire kitchen redo or the one site I found that had 24" deep wall cabinets had a minimum order of 6 cabinets.

It seemed like such a simple thing, but I can't find the unfinished cabinets I need. If anyone has a source, I would be grateful.

Bothering the heck out of me because I can't recall the name right now, but there is a place where you can buy items that were removed from homes but left in good condition - it's a part of Habitat for Humanity. As long as you're painting the cabinets, some tolerance in their condition and appearance would be ok.

Like Mitch, I was thinking used cabinet base would be the way to go. If you can't find what you want used and if your a little bit handy - it's not that had to build the carcass for cabinets.
