Hi,
I have a DSC pc2500 alarm. I have a window open detection on the basement window. However, I have separated the basement and would like to change the window to a different zone, as I have split the alarm with zones 1-6 for one code and 7-8 on another code. The window is part of the zone 4 and I would like to switch it to zone 7 so that that window is controlled by the 7-8 zone code instead of the 1-6. Does anyone know how to do this via the keypad, or do I need to rewire the alarm? Thanks in advance.

Thewindow zone, if on it's own zone and not daisy chained with other devices would need to be rewired to zone 7. You would use a tone generator to find where the wire terminates. Hopefully it is at the panel.
