does the 5827 remote keypad arm the Lynx system from inside your house? do you still get the 60 seconds to exit the door? Does the 5804 keyfob work the same way or do you need to arm your system from outside the door?

The 5827 is a keypad and thus anything you can do from the lynx control panel you can do from it. The 5804's can be used in the house/outside the house usually anywhere within 150' radius of the keypad/control panel. The exit time is driven by the amount programmed in the control panel it-self thus anytime you arm the system by any means you get the same amount of time.
