Flooring Tile - Travertine Grout Haze and other questions...

I had some "glossy" (semi-glossy?) travertine laid down for my bathroom floor. I noticed that a few of the tiles have the infamous grout haze. Will a vinegar solution or grout haze remover be OK to use on this tile? I looked at the bottle from Lowe's (Aqua Mix?) and travertine was not mentioned, although other natural stones were.

Also is a antibacterial/mineral application neccessary with this stone?

What is the best way to clean the dust off the tile before sealing it?

Sounds like you have polished travertine there. You cant use any type acids as they will etch the polished finish. Vinager is an acid, so no dont use it. You need to find a non acidic grout haze remover. If that doesnt work you may have to call in a restoration person.

I have found water sponge and elbow grease works well to remove a light haze. Travertine is porous stone so sealing it would be a good idea
