Anyone know how to remove cigarette smoke from Microsuede furniture? We stopped smoking 2 years ago and even thought the couch and loveseat have been in climate controlled storage, they still smell smoky.

Welcome to the forums!...My wife likes betas herself. Just a side note there.

I would say the best bet..may be to have the couch professionally cleaned and treated with ozone before placing it into your home. The smell is going to be pretty hard to remove and practicly impossible in a diy method.

Docduck is sooooo... right.

Cigarette smoke penetrates into the foam under all that upholstery. Having it professionally cleaned will help BUT keep in mind the smoke has also penetrated through the bottom also!! That part can't be cleaned but you can spray it heavily with Fabreeze or some other odor incapsulating product. This will actually help to seal the underside.

Beyond these steps, sell it and replace it!!

Not a fan of Febreeze, we use OdoBan in our rentals (we buy it at Sam's Club). Sometimes next to impossible to remove anything that has penetrated the foam.
