I have a pro-style stainless & glass gas range. I am having a lot of trouble getting the glass surface clean & streak free. It is a deep burgundy glass, so shows all the grease & fingerprints. Any ideas?

I use Hope's Perfect Glass (Lowes). Might need a multi-surface product meant to cut grease first, though.

I've never been a fan of the glass top stoves because it requires more steps and more time to keep them sparkling. As indicated, it usually requires removal of grease and baked on food with degreaser. Then, a good rinsing and follow-up with glass cleaner for the final removal of any residues. Finally, the glass polish to seal and shine.
