I have a G.E. 30 pint dehumidifier that started not coming on all the time. Now it won't come on at all. Could it be the switch on it? I can buy a switch for $23, but do you think that's what is the problem? It is about 3 years old and had no other problems untill this started.

Its hard to say what the problem is. It will cost more to have it repaired than to buy a new one. Average life span of a cheap dehumidifier is less than 5 yrs 30 pint is a very small unit.
