I am removing tiles from concrete slab.
Most rooms went as expected. Using a 4' pneumatic scraper the tile and thinset came up with moderate effort.

The problem is the mastert bath. It was put down with a white thinset and I am literally having to pulverize it to remove it. Between the dust and damage to the slab that will occur, I thought I should see if anyone had any tips.

As it stands, it seems I will need to continue pulverizing it and then refinish the slab.

(I am removing the tile to put down hardwood)

Thanks for reading.

Hilti makes an incredible hammer drill that will make small order out of your tile. It is a hammer first, drill second and can be rented from the box stores. Get a wide hammer bit and go to town.

Great suggestion. I will have to try it. Thanks cizzi!
