Alarm System was disconnected due to the alarm would not shut off. I currently have three disconnected wires in the control box. Three wires lead to AC terminal - bell terminal - and 1 PGM2 terminal. The three sets of wires each have a black and red wire and one set is wrapped in a blue cover, second set wrapped in a red cover, and third set wrapped in a pink cover. I need to know which color set goes to which terminal. System was installed in 1996 and is DSC Power 832 - Model # PC 5010

There really is no standard color coding for this kind of wiring. The odds are that the red jacket is "fire wire" for a detector circuit, but there is no certainty.

Find your transformer and siren and compare with the homerun end.
