Can anyone tell me how hard is it to replace motor & fan in a roof mounted cooler? It doesn't look like it would be that hard, but I'm questioning my ability. Any thoughts??

Fan replacement can be a bear of a job due to the fact the shaft has to come out of the fan so the fan can be pulled out the discharge opening. The fan shaft is usually so rusty it's difficult to get it to slide thru the fan hubs. If I may ask,why does the fan need changing? If the shaft is bad, sand it down good inside of the hubs, cut it inside of each hub w/ a sawzall and slide it out each side. If you decide to do this w/ cooler in place, run a rope thru the fan and over the top of housing to keep it from falling when shaft is removed.
The motor is no problem. Just pay attention where each wire is connected in the motor junction box.
