I was going to do my pond in concrete, but have decided to go with the liner....just like my old house....fairly small, but going to have a big waterfall!!....I can get 20 ml on ebay or at Lowes...is this adequate?? I can't remember which I got before, but I thought it was thicker..it will be one piece, no fish, no plants, just water (chlorinated).........all I need is a 10' x 13 or 15'....it is gonna be an awesome waterfall 3000 gph pump!!!!!!!!

I think you should go with a 40 mm EPDM to be safe. Your 3000 gph pump is the same presure that we had on our first waterfall. It was pretty sweet.

Depends on a lot of variables. I put in 20 mil, but I don't realistically plan on it lasting 10+ years either. The odds are pretty slim that I will either want to expand the pond, or move are much greater than my liner dying.
40 mil EPDM will run you several hundred $$$. Unless you have many burrowing animals, or tree roots near your pond the thinner PVC should be just fine.
I don't know your particulars, but its like buying a car. Sure a BMW, Porche, or Mercedes would be nice, but remember a Ford has 4 wheels too. Unless you need the high performance, don't pay for it.
