On the system I am just about to wire into our new house, I also wish to add two 5804 BDV keyfobs and wish to use the keyfobs to not only arm/disarm the alarm but to also open our overhead garage doors. Is this possible?

We have a 6160RF keypad, numerous wired and wireless devices with three other keypads including a 6150, 6160 and a 6270.

Any suggestions or recommendations

It can be done, but you will need a relay module to be activated by output programming linked to the keyfob buttons. It also depends on the specs for the garage door opener. For example, does it accept an external switch input?
