Howdy All,
Just looking for opinions on a slab foundation vs. pier & beam. We will be building Northwest of Waco Texas. We currently live in Dallas and foundation problems are just a way of life.
Thanks,
Craig

Both are popular in that area of Texas. I think I would go to the local building permit department where you are going to build, and ask them. There are many pro's & con's on each. Each area the soils and conditions are different. Good Luck

I live in OKla and I would take pier & beam any day because of access to plumbing, air ducts, etc. I just don't like the overhead ductwork--personal preference.
