Hi ya'll hope someone can help.
We installed a ceramic tile floor in our kitchen 3 years ago. I laid a good quality area rug (Mohawk) down in the dining area to protect tile from table & chair scratches. The rug has no rubber backing or padding. Today we removed rug to replace with new one & underneath the tile has a faded appearance. You can even see the weave pattern of the rug! It almost seems to be embedded into the tile finish. I have tried mineral spirits, no help. The floor is black so I'm afraid to use bleach. So, any suggestions? Thanks so much!
