I just purchased a two-tier fountain to go on my screen porch. It holds about 10 gallons of water and has a pump to circulate the water.
I've looked at various web sites about water treatments. I've seen many diffferent treatments such as:
A. Protec Water Treatment for white calcium mineral buildup and metallic stains
B. Fountec Water Treatment for algae
C. No More Algale: Fountain
D. No More White Scale: Fountain.
E. No More Foam: Fountain
And these are just a few.
Any suggestions on products to use to keep the water clear in a fountain?
Thanks

If distilled water is used, there should be no mineral scale or buildup and no need for descaling product. There are algaecides and clarifiers available. If foam is a problem, defoamers are available. The products and manufacturers mentioned are reputable.
