I just bought a house containing an older kenmore classic grill range with a downdraft blower. The blower vibrates badly and has some metal to metal contact I assume it is impellor to housing. The noise is only during accelleration and when up to speed it subsides but the vibrations continue. I have taken it apart, cleaned it and saw no improvement. The rubber grommets that you screw through to attach it to the floor seem worn and I have ordered new ones. I will try this first but does anyone have any other suggestions as to how to remedy this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
