My old chandelier has a pull chain, no wall outlet. The new chandelier that I bought works with a wall switch. Can I install the new chandelier and use the same pull chain, or do I run a wire and have to make a wall outlet? Does anyone have an easy fix solution?

I think you need to run a cable down inside the wall to a wall switch (not really an "outlet" in the official definition of the term). Most home wiring books will show you how.
