Hello,
This afternoon I noticed the hot water baseboards were gurgling. Then I noticed out of the auto air vent a slow seeping of water, then after i turned down the thermostat to turn off the boiler a few minutes later foamy frothy water began spewing out of the auto air vent. Does ANYONE know what is going on with this crazy thing?

Sounds like your boiler is low on water. With the boiler cold, how much pressure are you showing on the gauge? For a single story house, you need about 10-12 psig. For 2 stories, usually 12-15#.
